James Morrison

Born in Utah and raised in Alaska, James Morrison began his acting career in the circus and served his theatrical apprenticeship with the Alaska Repertory Theatre. Morrison has appeared at the La Jolla Playhouse, the Mark Taper Forum and the Old Globe, to name a few. He won the Los Angeles Drama Critics' Circle Award and three Drama-Logue Awards.

His directorial debut Parking won the Audience Choice Award for Best Short Film at Slamdance in 1996. His film Nude Descending won the George Melies Award at the 1998 Taos Talking Picture Festival and was selected for special recognition by hypnotic.com and American Cinematheque.

Numerous film acting credits include: Catch Me If You Can, The One, American Gun and Jarhead.

On TV, in addition to returning for a second season on 24, Morrison starred as McQueen on FOX's cult classic Space: Above and Beyond. Additionally, he has guest-starred on Six Feet Under, The West Wing, CSI: Miami, Frasier, Cold Case and The X-Files, among others.

A Lecture Fellow at Bournemouth University School of Media in the UK, Morrison currently teaches Hatha yoga at Los Angeles' oldest studio, the Center for Yoga.

He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife Riad and son Seamus.
