Chris Bowers

Chris Bowers, son of an American foreign service officer, was born in Panama and has lived in Poland, Singapore and attended high school in Bonn, Germany. In between overseas posts, home was Arlington, Virginia. His father was the United States Ambassador to Bolivia in the mid-1990s and his sister was a competitive, nationally-ranked swimmer.

Bowers graduated Brown University with a bachelors of arts degree in semiotics and English literature. He studied acting in New York City with instructor Maggie Flanigan, and landed his first professional acting job on Broadway in Arthur Miller's After the Fall.  Most recently, Bowers has made guest appearances on Rescue Me and NBC's Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Prior to pursuing acting full-time, Bowers was a rock musician, playing guitar and bass. He has toured supporting and shared billing with such acts as Cheap Trick, Joey Ramone and Joan Jett. In his free time, Bowers enjoys board sports and playing music.

Bowers currently resides in New York City and his birthday is December 26.
