Kristen Wiig
A native of Rochester, NY, Wiig came to SNL from the Los Angeles-based improv/sketch comedy troupe The Groundlings, where cast mates including Will Forte and Maya Rudolph, as well as such distinguished alums as Will Ferrell, Laraine Newman, Phil Hartman and Jon Lovitz, began their careers.
Wiig garnered early praise for stealing every scene (New York Magazine) in Judd Apatow's hit comedy "Knocked Up. Wiig's recent feature credits include her role in the Apatowproduced

Reilly; Ghost Town opposite Ricky Gervais; and the upcoming features Adventureland, (from Superbad director Greg Mottola); All Good Things, a drama/mystery with Ryan Gosling and Kirsten Dunst; Mike Judge's Extract, opposite Jason Bateman; and Drew Barrymore's directorial debut, Whip It! co-starring with Ellen Page and Barrymore.
