Anisha Nagarajan

Anisha Nagarajan stars in NBC's comedy series Outsourced as Madhuri, a wallflower who suffers from extreme shyness at the Mid America Novelties call center. She can barely speak up to introduce herself to the team, but eventually finds her voice through her work.

Nagarajan's television and film credits include Ugly Betty, Hope and a Little Sugar, and The Trident.

Nagarajan originated the lead role of Priya in the Broadway production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and A.R. Rahman's Bombay Dreams. Other Broadway and off-Broadway credits include the Grammy-nominated Hair for the Actor's Fund Benefit at the New Amsterdam Theatre and Snapshots at the 45th Street Theatre.

Her regional theater credits include Princesses at the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle, The Wiz at the La Jolla Playhouse in San Diego, and RENT at the Hangar Theatre in Ithaca.

She performed for the President of the United States and Queen Elizabeth at the Winfield House in Regents Park, London; at Carnegie Hall; and alongside Grammy and Oscar winner A.R. Rahman at the Hollywood Bowl.
