Zachary Gordon

Zachary Gordon gained enormous attention in the title role of DIARY OF A WIMPY KID, the first movie in the series. In its recent Power of Youth issue, Variety called him, the next Bill Murray.

Zachary made his film debut in Georgia Rule, starring Jane Fonda, for which he won the Young Artists Award in the best supporting actor category. Since then, he's appeared in National Treasure: Book of Secrets, and played young Bloom, Adrien Brody's character as a boy, in The Brothers Bloom.

His numerous television appearances include guest-starring roles on series such as All of Us, How I Met Your Mother, Desperate Housewives, and 24. Zachary also has a busy voiceover career. He is a series regular on Nickelodeon's Ni Hao Kai-lan, which teaches the Mandarin language to pre-schoolers. In the series, Zachary provides the voice of San San, and works with a Mandarin coach as needed. His voice talents are also heard in the Nickelodeon series, Bubble Guppies, in which he portrays Gil, one of the lead guppies. He also lends his voice to Spike TV's Emmy winning Afro Samurai: Resurrection, alongside Samuel L. Jackson, and he is the voice of Young Bruce Wayne for Cartoon Networks' Batman: The Brave and the Bold. He has also worked on Seth Green's Robot Chicken, voicing Charlie Brown, Linus and Franklin. And, for the big screen, he provides the voice of Papi Jr. in Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2.

As the host of the Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey Circus DVD, Zachary interviewed circus trainers and performers and interacted with many different animals. While filming DIARY OF A WIMPY KID: RODRICK RULES, Zachary was honored with the Rising Star Award at the Danville Children's Film Festival.

Zachary enjoys basketball, ping-pong and sixties music, especially The Beatles and Billy Joel. He sings, dances (hip hop) and loves to read. His ambitions include producing or directing some of his favorite stories.

Zachary lives in Southern California and, like his character, Greg, he began seventh grade – his second year in middle school – while filming DIARY OF A WIMPY KID: RODRICK RULES.
