Joseph Sargent
Joseph Sargent directed the HBO original movies A Lesson Before Dying and Miss Evers' Boys, both of which won the Emmy for TV movie. He received Emmys for directing Miss Rose White, Caroline, Love Is Never Silent and The Marcus-Nelson Murders. Among his other credits are The Incident (Emmy for drama/comedy special), Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment, The Wall, Mandela and de Klerk, The Streets of Laredo and My Antonia.
