Todd Holland has been a key creative force as a producer and director on the award-winning cable series The Larry Sanders Show, for which Holland has received five Emmy Award nominations, five CableACE Awards, and three DGA Award nominations.

He previously directed the 1989 feature, The Wizard starring Fred Savage, Beau Bridges and Christian Slater.

His other television directing credits include various episodes of the series Tales From the Crypt (nominated for a CableACE) Twin Peaks, Max Headroom and My So­Called Life.

Two of Holland's television episodes were recently cited in TV Guide's survey of The 100 Greatest Episodes of Television Ever. These were the Everybody Loves Larry episode of The Larry Sanders Show, guest­starring David Duchovny, and the Life of Brian episode of My So­Called Life, examining the pain surrounding a school dance.

Holland is a graduate of UCLA's Film and Television School. For his graduate film, Holland wrote, produced and directed the live­action short film Chicken Thing. The film, which has won more than 30 national and international awards, caught the eye of Steven Spielberg who hired Holland out of film school to write and direct episodes of Spielberg's Amazing Stories.
