Biography #2 (for They)

Ethan Embry, a talented comedic and dramatic actor, has successfully been building his career since the age of 10 and is currently in production as the co-star opposite Ed O'Neill for the new Dick Wolf Drama Dragnet for ABC. This remake of the 1960's television show re-teams Embry with O'Neill after Embry made his feature film debut in the John Hughes comedy Dutch.

On the silver screen, Embry can be seen in theaters co-starring opposite Reese Witherspoon and Josh Lucas in the Disney/Touchstone feature Sweet Home Alabama for director Andy Tennant. Embry can soon be seen in the Dick Donner/Paramount feature Timeline opposite Paul Walker, Gerry Butler and Francis O'Connor.

Embry's other television credits include the FOX drama Freakylinks (a.k.a. Fearsum) from the creators of the Blair Witch Project, where he played the host of a web site focused on the paranormal. Embry also had a role in the Emmy winning mini series Drug Wars: The Camarena Story and Work With Me for CBS.

Additionally, Embry is well known for his turns as the secret admirer in the Columbia/Tristar's teen comedy Can't Hardly Wait opposite Jennifer Love Hewitt, the naïve young bassist in That Thing You Do directed by Tom Hanks and the youngest crew member in Ridley Scott's White Squall. Additional credits include the cult hit Empire Records, Montana, Ball in the House and Dancer, Texas.

Embry currently lives in Los Angeles.
