Julie Christie.
Tarlov produced Mortal Thoughts, starring Bruce Willis, Demi Moore, Glenne Headly and Harvey Keitel, and directed by Alan Rudolph. He has produced three films for Jon Amiel: Tune in Tomorrow, starring Keanu Reeves, Barbara Hershey and Peter Falk, Copycat, starring Sigourney Weaver, Holly Hunter and Dermot Mulroney, and The Man Who Knew Too Little, starring Bill Murray, P eter Gallagher and Joanne Whalley. He also produced the last two films by John Waters: Serial Mom, starring Kathleen Turner, Sam Waterston and Ricki Lake, which had the honor of closing the Cannes Film Festival, and Pecker starring Edward Furlong, Christina Ricci, Martha Plimpton and Lili Taylor.
Before the film business, Tarlov began his career as an attorney for the United States Department of Justice after having spent a year as a speech writer for the late Warren Berger, Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court. After leaving the Justice Department, Tarlov worked as an executive for Warner Bros. for three years until he left in 1983 to begin producing films.
