Sarah Wynter
Wynter is best-known as the female lead opposite Kiefer Sutherland during the second season of Fox's critically-acclaimed, real-time hit drama series 24.
On the big screen, Wynter has been seen opposite box office heavyweight Arnold Schwarzenegger in The Sixth Day, produced by Phoenix Pictures for Columbia/Tri-Star; opposite Winona Ryder and Ben Chaplin in New Line's Lost Souls, directed by Academy Award-winning cinematographer Janusz Kaminski; and in MGM's Species 2. She recently received critical praise for her starring performance in Bruce Beresford's Bride of the Wind opposite Vincent Perez and Jonathan Pryce, which was released by Paramount Classics.
Wynter's other credits include work on the independent films Farewell, My Love, Jerks, and MGM's Molly, and she also guest-starred in the television pilot for HBO's Sex and the City. She recently completed filming starring roles in the independent feature Moving August and in the TNT original feature Race Against Time, opposite Eric Roberts. Most recently, Wynter starred opposite Josh Brolin and Timothy Olyphant in the independent film Coastlines for director Victor Nunez, which made its debut at the Sundance Film Festival.
Born in Newcastle, Australia, Wynter attended boarding school in Sydney, and arrived in New York City at age 17 to study drama. While in New York, she studied with Penny Templeton and appeared in various off-Broadway productions.
Wynter has graced the cover of the Vanity Fair Hollywood Issue, as well as the pages of Mirabella, Harper's Bazaar, and Maxim.
