Paul McGuigan, whose most recent film is 2002's The Reckoning, also directed Gangster No. 1 and The Acid House, which won the New York Underground Film Festival Best Feature, the Royal Television Society Best Newcomer and Best Single Drama, the Stockholm Film Festival Best Feature, and the Prix Italia Best Single Drama.
In television, McGuigan directed Playing Nintendo with God (New York Festivals TV programming winner), Football, Faith and Flutes (nominated for Best Documentary by BAFTA), MTV World Tour – Cuba, Lonely Planet – New York, Radio 1…As It Is, Go-Go Archipelago, Lonely Planet – La Ruta Maya, Passengers, Carnography, and Walk on the Wide Side. Before working as a director, McGuigan was a fashion and music photographer.
