Joe Lando

Lando was most recently seen starring and producing the Family Channel series Higher Ground. But he is best known to television audiences for his role as Byron Sully on the hit series Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. He reprised that role for the television movies Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman: Revolutions and Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman: The Heart Within.

Lando has recently starred in three independent features: Blindness, with Vivian Wu; Ntry Michaels' directorial debut No Code of Conduct; and Seeds of Doubt, with Peter Coyote.

On television, Lando guest-starred on Tracy Takes On and appeared in the highly rated cable film Any Place But Home. Other television credits include Alien Nation: The Enemy Within and Shadows of Desire, as well as guest spots on the series The John Laroquette Show, Homicide and Pros and Cons. He first caught the attention of television viewers when he landed a role on the soap opera One Life To Live.

In TBS Superstation's original movie Counterstrike, Joe Lando plays Vince Kellogg, a Secret Service agent who, along with his estranged brother, must help thwart an attempt to hijack the QE2.
