Christina Vidal

An actress and singer, Christina Vidal got her first big break at 10 years old co-starring with Michael J. Fox and Nathan Lane in the 1993 film Life With Mikey for which she won a 'Best Youth Actress' award from the Youth In Film Awards.

Since then, Vidal has appeared in numerous films and television series. She starred in the hit Nickelodeon series Taina portraying Taina Morales, an aspiring singer/actress attending a New York performing arts high school. Other TV credits include roles on Sabrina, The Teenage Witch, Providence, The Commish, Touched By An Angel FX/The Series, The Cosby Mysteries, and a series regular role on Nick Freno: Licensed Teacher for The WB. This is her second stint working with Aaron Spelling, having previously co-starred in the UPN pilot Hotel.

On the big screen, she can also be seen in Todd Solondz's acclaimed Welcome To The Dollhouse, Chasing Papi, Brink, and the recently released Disney feature Freaky Friday, co-starring with Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan.

In addition to her talent as an actress, Vidal is an accomplished singer. She recorded the soundtrack to her TV show Taina, is featured on the soundtracks to Men In Black II and Freaky Friday, and has just finished recording her own album for MCA Records.

Born and raised in New York City, Vidal was the first Puerto Rican/American child actress to have a leading role in an American motion picture. Her sister is the film and TV actress Lisa Vidal. Single, she resides in Los Angeles.
