Martin's television credits include lead roles in Out All Night, Getting Personal, which he also produced and Sugar Hill, as well as guest star appearances in Girlfriends, Yes, Dear and Living Single. He also starred in the television movies Mutiny and Mr. Headmistress.
Martin recently starred with Kelly Rowland in a film he produced and wrote, The Seat Filler. He also starred in and co-wrote the film Ride or Die. He has appeared in White Men Can't Jump, Above the Rim' Woo, Fakin' Da Funk, Scream 2, Any Given Sunday, with Al Pacino and Jaime Foxx; Deliver Us From Eva, with L.L. Cool J and The Groomsmen.
Martin owns Impact Sports, a sports management agency he founded. As a sports agent, he handles the careers of many top athletes in the NFL, NHL and Major League Baseball. Bartolo Colon, the pitcher for the Anaheim Angels, and NFL stars Jamal Lewis, Chris McAllister, David Boston and Robert Griffith are just some of the all-star athletes on Martin's roster. Martin, who himself was drafted into the NBA, chose to leave the pro-sports industry to tackle Hollywood.
He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, actress Tisha Campbell-Martin, and their 4 year-old son.
