JoBeth Williams
Since her acting debut on screen in Kramer vs. Kramer, the versatile film, television, and stage actress has also recently made her directorial debut with the short film On Hope, which garnered her an Oscar nomination. A two-time Emmy Award Nominee for her role in the television mini-series Baby M and Adam, Williams has also appeared in the memorable telefilms My Name is Bill W., The Day After, Kids Don't Tell, Victim of Love, the mini-series Murder Ordained, Final Appeal and the upcoming Lemon Grove. She recently starred in the telefilms Voices From Within and Parallel Lives. She guest starred on Frasier, and she executive produced Bump In The Night. She will star in the upcoming telefilm Ruby Jean and Joe.
Among her feature credits are starring roles in the films Wyatt Earp, The Big Chill, Poltergeist, Stir Crazy, The Dogs of War, Poltergeist II: The Other Side, Teachers, American Dreamer, Memories of Me, Dutch, Switch and Stop! or My Mom Will Shoot.
After Williams graduated Brown University with a B.A. in English, she joined the Trinity Repertory Theatre. She later made her Off-Broadway debut in Moonchildren. Her other theater credits include The Daughter-In-Law, A Couple of White Chicks Sittin' Around Talkin', Ladyhouse Blues, Gardenia, Idiot's Delight and Antony and Cleopatra.
Williams is married to director John Pasquin and lives in Los Angeles with their two children.
