K Callan, who plays the mother of the Man of Steel, in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman has also spent time mothering the likes of Michelle Pfeiffer in Frankie and Johnnie, Tom Hanks in Bosom Buddies, and Geena Davis in Sara. Callan first gained national attention as Peter Boyle's wife in the highly acclaimed film Joe. She continued to co-star in such feature films as American Gigolo with Richard Gere, A Touch of Class with Glenda Jackson, and The Onion Field with James Woods and Ted Danson. Callan's television credits include Coach, Deep Space Nine, Joe's World, Married: The First Year and Cutter to Houston. She has appeared in numerous television movies and mini-series, including Blind Ambition, Hollywood Wives, Splendor In The Grass, Ladies in Waiting, Ike: The War Years, and most recently co-starred opposite Eric Roberts in the television movie Saved By The Light. Between her busy acting career and raising three children, Callan has also found the time to write. She is a published author and has written six how-to books including The Los Angeles Agent Book, The New York Agent Book, How to Sell Yourself as an Actor, The Script is Finished, Now What Do I Do? and Directing Your Directing Career.
