Kathrine Narducci

Brazen 'Soprano' actress Kathrine Narducci is the ultimate gem in a hidden treasure. Born and raised in East Harlem, Kathrine grew up on old time classic movies like 'Bye-Bye Birdie' and 'Funny Girl', and for fun would act out scenes with her mother. Little did she know that her childhood fantasies would turn into a burning passion and escalating career.

A hardworking mother of two, Kathrine's big break came unexpectedly in 1992 when she took her son to an open casting call for Chazz Palminteri's movie 'A Bronx Tale'. Kathrine seized the moment and auditioned herself for the movie. Without ever having formal training, she won the starring role in her first feature film playing the wife opposite Robert De Niro. Kathrine explains, "I always knew where I was supposed to be. It was only a matter of time until I got there."

Kathrine's spectacular debut in 'A Bronx Tale' launched her career on the right foot. From there, she signed with an agent and started serious training to further advance her career. During her training, she worked privately with Tom Waites and the late Charlee Kakasokas. Under Waite's direction, Kathrine then starred in the play, '6 Goumbas and a Wannabe'.

Before landing her role in 'The Soprano's', Kathrine made vast and numerous appearances in a variety television series, theater performances, and independent films. She has frequently appeared on the renowned TV series', 'Law and Order','Third Watch', and 'NYPD Blue' Kathrine also had a cameo in the theatrical remake of 'he Miracle on 34th Street' alongside Richard Attenboro. Combining her determination and fireball performances, Kathrine's efforts were not overlooked. More recently, Kathrine starred in the #1 running off-Broadway hit 'Pieces of Ass.'

As of 1998, Kathrine has been playing the role of Charmaine Bucco, the intolerable wife of Artie Bucco in the HBO original series 'The Sopranos'. Along with the ensemble, Kathrine has won the Sag Award for 'Best Cast Ensemble'. In addition, Kathrine has attained the 'Best Supporting Actress' Village Voice Award for her part in 'Two Family House', which also won the Sundance Audience Award.

With recurring success in her supporting role for 'The Sopranos', Kathrine's acting career could only continue to escalate from here. Kathrine is also an impressionist abstract artist and looks forward to launching a tee shirt line with her original designs. Surely, Ms. Narducci's passion puts new meaning to the phrase 'reach for the stars'.

She recently completed a film this past year called Made in Brooklyn with Sharon Angela and Vince Curatola, which should be released sometime in 2006. It is a comedy and was directed by Jeff Mazzola.
