Poppy Montgomery's is gaining increasing attention with starring roles in several upcoming feature films. In addition to making her feature film debut in a starring role with Dead Man on Campus, her upcoming feature films include Life, starring Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence, directed by Ted Demme and produced by Brian Grazer and Murphy slated for release in late 1998; The Other Sister co-starring opposite Diane Keaton, Juliette Lewis and Giovanni Ribisi and directed by Garry Marshall to released in the Fall 1998; and the independent film The Space Between Us starring opposite Jeremy Sisto.

Other films include a starring role in the short film, American Untitled, Rob Lowe' s directorial debut which premiered at the 12th Annual Santa Barbara Film Festival ; The Cold Equations, a futuristic film opposite Billy Campbell; and a supporting role in her feature film debut in Carl Franklin' s critically acclaimed Devil in a Blue Dress.

Her television credits include her acclaimed role as ' Jennifer Lukens' on the series Relativity; the role of ' Alison,' a young English lesbian on the hit series Party of Five; a guest-starring role on NYPD Blue; and a starring role in the television movie Jake Lassiter.

Montgomery grew up in a large, eclectic family in Australia. Like Poppy (whose middle name is Petal), her four sisters are all named after flowers: Rosie Thorn, Daisy Yellow, Lily Belle and Marigold Sun.
