Sarita Choudhury

Sarita Choudhury made her feature debut as Denzel Washington's irresistible love interest in Mira Nair's multicultural romantic comedy Mississippi Masala. She went on to reunite with Nair as the sensual Princess Tara in the controversial and daringly erotic film Kama Sutra, capturing the attention of many critics who took notice both of her exotic beauty and depth of emotion.

In her still young career, Choudhury has worked with some of Hollywood's most distinguished directors. Her film credits include David Atwood's Wild West, Bille August's The House of the Spirits, High Art directed by Lisa Cholodenko, Sidney Lumet's Gloria, and Andrew Davis' A Perfect Murder.

For television, Choudhury has starred in Subway Stories, for HBO and Executive Producer Jonathan Demme, and Showtime's Down Came the Bird.
