Teresa Wright
Teresa Wright is an American actress. Born in New York City, she was nominated for three Academy Awards in her first three movies. In 1943, she played the innocent girl who discovered that her beloved uncle was a murderer in Shadow of a Doubt. She also starred in The Best Years of Our Lives in 1946.
After 1959 she worked mainly in television and on the stage. She was nominated for Emmys in 1957 for The Miracle Worker and in 1960 for The Margaret Boutke-White Story. Her most recent movie was John Grisham's The Rainmaker in 1997.
