Tina Lifford

Tina Lifford started her film career portraying a recovering addict in New Jack City (1991). She has gone on to bring a wide variety of characters to life. Her most recent work includes such films as Joe Somebody (2001), Pay It Forward (2000) and Panic (2000).

Lifford's television credits include lead roles in the series South Central (Fox) and Crisis Center (CBS). She's been thrice nominated for the Cable Ace for her work in Mandela and de Klerk (1997), America's Dream (1996) and Paris Trout (1991). She also starred in A Girl Thing (2001), The 70's (2000), The Loretta Claiborne Story (2000) and The Temptations (1998).

Tina Lifford has had lead or starring roles in such television favorites as The Practice, NYPD Blue, Judging Amy, Family Law, JAG, Touched by an Angel and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
