Troy Beyer
Following a small part Francis Ford Coppola's The Cotton Club, Beyer moved to California. Shortly after, Beyer's career began to flourish after she was cast as Diahann Carroll's daughter on Dynasty and earned the leading role in Rooftops, Robert Wise's modern version of West Side Story. Beyer gained recognition for her performances and won ShoWest's 1988 Newcomer of the Year Award.
Beyer's acting credits include leading roles in The Five Heartbeats, The White Girl, Disorderlies, Weekend At Bernie's II, Good Advice, The Gingerbread Man, and John Q. In addition to Dynasty, Beyer's television credits include Tribeca, produced by Robert DeNiro, and Steven Bochco's critically acclaimed ABC series Murder One.
Beyer wrote and sold her first script B.A.P.S. to New Line Cinema, and also starred in the film with Halle Berry and Martin Landau. Beyer went on to write, direct and star in her next film entitled Let's Talk About Sex, which follows the lives of three women as they hit the streets of South Beach to candidly discuss life, love and sex in the 90s.
