Maria Conchita Alonso
Maria Conchita Alonso most recently appeared as Eva Longoria's mother on an episode of Desperate Housewives. She also guest-starred in Amas de Casa Desesperadas, the Spanish counterpart to Desperate Housewives. Additional television credits include starring in the series Saints & Sinners and Resurrection Blvd. for Showtime, as well as guest-starring roles on series such as CSI: Miami, Touched by an Angel and The Nanny. Alonso also starred in the 2003 NBC miniseries Kingpin. Now with more than 50 films to her credit, Alonso first made her mark in U.S. motion pictures when she costarred with Robin Williams in Moscow on the Hudson. She went on to star in numerous films, including Extreme Prejudice, The Running Man, Caught and Colors. She recently starred in Dark Moon Rising, scheduled for release at the end of this year. Alonso also had a special guest role in the critically acclaimed film Spread, which debuted at Sundance.
