Jayne Atkinson has spanned two decades and has included roles in theater, television and film. A graduate of Northwestern University, Atkinson made her theater debut in a Broadway production of
All My Sons and went on to star in many theater productions, including
Henry VIII,
Tru and
The Art of Success. In 2000, her powerful performance in
The Rainmaker garnered a Tony Award nomination, and her role in
Enchanted April earned Atkinson an Outer Critics Circle Award as well as a Tony Award nomination.On the silver screen, Atkinson's feature film credits include
Free Willy,

The Village. Most recently, Atkinson starred alongside
George Clooney in the Academy Award-winning drama
